A continuation of OPT 413. Comparison between soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Fitting techniques for rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Detection and management of chronic and acute complications induced by contact lenses. Advanced fitting techniques for toric and bi- toric lenses. Contact lens management options for special conditions such as dry eye, aphakia and keratoconus (and other corneal irregularities). Scleral lenses. Disposable lenses and replacement regimes.
