At the end of this course, students should be able to: 1. analyse the global nutrition situation; 2. explain the concept of globalisation of food systems; 3. discuss the international nutrition policies and politics; 4. explain the nutrition-related events commemorated globally; and 5. list the roles of international relief agencies, UN and NGOs in international nutrition arena.
