Course Description
At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
1. draw with ease at any object placed before him/her (without the use of ruler, T-Square, set
square); attempt rapid and illustrate quickly without minimal mistake;
2. draw various forms, from natural landscapes to human figures;
3. draw human activities and postures in clothed figure without the aid of any drawing tools;
and
4. display the works produced from the drawing.
Course Outline
This course expands on the fundamental covered in Introduction to Freehand Drawing.
Composition of objects is introduced, with emphasis on relationship parts, proportion and enter
play of light. Variety of media is used to execute studio exercises in which students are expected
to demonstrate mastery of the techniques of image creation.
