Differences and similarities between commercial and drafted patterns; Body Measurement and size chart; Use and importance of basic blocks; drafting of basic blocks: front and back bodice, front and back skirts, sleeve and pants; Dart positions, and; Introduction to dart manipulations. Adaptation of basic blocks into simple styles for different activities.
