Course Description
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. develop the aesthetic dimensions of designing;
2. handle chemicals for dying; and
3. practice sustainable designing about the fabric.
Course Outline
Detailed analysis of fabric structure and printing and dye pigments and end-use with reference
to consumer safety and market values. Practical studio work is designed to aid students in
exploring ways of improving fabric prints’ commercial and aesthetic values.
