At the end of this course, the students should be able to: 1. explain the biological basis for radiotherapy; 2. identify relevant staff needed and their respective roles in radiotherapy; 3. explain basis for tumour grading; 4. describe various treatment options for malignant tumours; 5. describe various treatment fields for different types of tumour; 6. explain how organ sparing is achieved during treatment planning; and 7. explain how complications of radiotherapy treatment is managed.
