Course Description
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
1. define and discuss the basic ethical principles of patient management and research; and
2. link and distinguish between the various ethical concepts.
Course Outline
Ethics and jurisprudence, definition and scope. Ethical issues in dentistry. Oath of Hippocrates.
Dental malpractice and negligence. Ethical issues in research.
