Natural Resources Conservation and Environmental Management

At the end of this course students will be able to: 1. explain the concepts of natural resources, scarcity and resource use; 2. discuss Environmental/ecological implications of threatened/endangered natural resources; 3. mention major resource and environmental challenges in the society; 4. explain the meaning of sustainable use and conservation of natural resources; and 5. discuss strategies for sustainable use and conservation of natural resources.
