At the end of this course, students should be able to: 1. identify individual teeth from each jaw and side; 2. compare and contrast teeth with similar features; 3. recognise the correct eruption sequence in primary and permanent dentition; 4. identify the appropriate name for tooth surfaces; 5. describe the tooth numbering systems used in dentistry; and 6. identify mamelons, grooves, ridges, cingula, heights of contour, tubercle, cusps, embrasure.
