Course Description
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
1. provide a brief overview of maxillofacial prosthodontics and gnathology with information
tailored towards an undergraduate level of training; and
2. explain the fabrication of occlusal appliances.
Course Outline
Introduction to maxillofacial prostheses. Managing temporomandibular disorders. Implants in
maxillofacial prosthetics.
