Imaging Critique/Pattern Recognition

Course Description
At the end of this course, the students should be able to:
1. recognise normal anatomy in medical images;
2. identify changes in morphology and function for organs and systems due to disease on
images; and
3. explain basis to carry out further projections and procedures.
Course Outline
Radiographic film critique and quality control (Film faults); identification of common basic faults
and pathologies on radiographs, in order to be able to carry out necessary modifications or
additional projections.
