Description

Neuroanatomy is the branch of anatomy that studies the structure and organization of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. It examines how different neural structures are connected and how their organization supports sensory, motor, cognitive, and autonomic functions.

Neuroscience is the broader scientific field that investigates the nervous system's structure, function, development, physiology, and disorders. It integrates disciplines such as biology, medicine, psychology, chemistry, and computer science to understand how the nervous system controls behavior, cognition, and bodily functions, and to develop treatments for neurological and psychiatric conditions.
