Course Description
At the end of this course, students should be able to: 1. discuss head injury and spinal trauma; 2. enumerate common surgical intracranial lesions and spinal cord lesions; 3. discuss congenital malformations and management; and 4. appraise the neurosurgical patient and intracranial haemorrhage.
Course Outline
Head injury and spinal trauma. Common surgical intracranial lesions as well as spinal cord lesions. Congenital malformations and their management. Evaluation of the neurosurgical patient and intracranial haemorrhage.
