Course Description
At the end of the course, students should be able to: 1. demonstrate knowledge of visual communication (graphics) in the concepts of design elements and principles, putting into cognizance functional and aesthetic parts of the creative design process; 2. demonstrate competency and knowledge in drawing, design research, concept development, computer aided designs, model making, design theories and thinking, project management, and complete product development targeted at both local and global markets; 3. demonstrate knowledge and skills for professional and strategic business practices in the fields of Visual and Communication Design; and 4. demonstrate advanced knowledge for innovative approach and multi-faceted applications of concepts and skills for digital product development, processes, and sustainable use of materials, tools and techniques to develop relevant creative solutions with adequate understanding and consideration for context and culture. 300 level Graphics Design option
