Course Description
Upon the completion of the training, the students should be able to: 1. interact with experts, thus making them gain extra knowledge outside the school environment; 2. compare classwork with real-life working experience in their various areas of specialisation; 3. determine their level of competence; 4. acquire the more practical knowledge and skills; 5. provide a detailed written report on their industrial experience; and 6. defend their project to a panel of examiners.
Course Outline
Students are attached to private and public organisations for a period of three months with a view to making them acquire practical experience and to the extent possible, develop skills in all areas of ICT. Students are supervised during the training period and shall be expected to keep records designed for the purpose of monitoring their performance. They are also expected to document their experiences, produce & submit a report of the documentation, present and defend the reports.
