Course Description
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. identify the practical procedural issues involved in setting up a graphic design studio; and
2. describe the legislative and ethical issues involved in setting up a graphic design studio,
working as an independent graphic designer.
Course Outline
Professional responsibility following the forms set up by graphic designer and multimedia creator.
Set-up and operations of the graphic or multimedia designers’ office and the procedures
connected with the execution of projects in graphics and multimedia. The focus of this subject
is the exploration of the various entrepreneurial possibilities available in the graphic design,
graphic arts, crafts domain, and multimedia technology. Practical legislative, ethical and
procedural issues involved in setting up graphic outfits or working as an independent art and
design practitioner or multimedia technologist.
