Introductory Pharmacology

Course Description
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. discuss prescription and/or over-the-counter medications used in the management of a variety
of patient conditions encountered during rehabilitation.
Course Outline
General Principle of Pharmacology, Pharmacology for Central Nervous System disorders, skeletal
muscles and cerebrovascular pharmacology and many others. Determination of dosage,
application, essential chemical contents, their pharmacologic actions, route and depth of
penetration of topical drugs and required instrumentations shall be taught.
