and IDM502: Jewellery Workshop Practices II and III

At the end of the course, students should be able to: 1. describe various jewellery/metal surface embellishment techniques; and 2. demonstrate competencies in the application of surface embellishment techniques on jewellery/metal products.

This course shall cover the application of surface enrichment techniques of jewellery and metal design. Techniques such as pickling, etching, heat treatment of surface and other advance techniques such as forging, enamelling, advance stone setting, chasing and responses shall be studied.
