Course Description
At the end of the course the students should be able to:
1. develop accuracy in visual perception, judgment of distance, direction and proportion;
2. develop technical and manipulative skill; and
3. solve basic problems in the observation and interpretation of forms with concern for space,
time, shapes.
Course Outline
Introduction to basic problems in the observation and interpretation of forms with concern for
space, time, shapes, form and composition. Exercise in the use of basic principles and techniques
of drawing lines, basic shapes; at this stage, the flexibility of the student is put to test. Skill
development in drawing with chiaroscuro.
