At the end of this course, students should be able to: 7. describe the inter-relationship between the different healthcare professionals; 8. outline complimentary roles in healthcare delivery; 9. discuss a broad based knowledge in applied medical sciences and an early orientation to multidisciplinary healthcare delivery; 10. appreciate early orientation to multidisciplinary healthcare delivery; 11. prioritise unity team approach to patient care; and 12. define basic medical terms and components of the medical interview.

Herbal and traditional medicine. Spiritual medicine. Energy and mind-body medicine. Biologically based medical practice. Public health aspects of CAM. Medical jurisprudence and professional liability issues.
