Course Description
At the end of this course, students should be able to: 1. define amenorrhoea; 2. list the causes of amenorrhoea, investigations and treatment of primary amenorrhoea; 3. define secondary amenorrhoea; 4. enumerate the aetiology of secondary amenorrhoea, investigations and treatment modality in secondary amenorrhoea; 5. describe the physiology of menopause and the climacteric period; 6. list the hormonal changes at menopause, perimenopausal symptoms and treatment; 7. discuss female and male sexual dysfunction; 8. define rape; 9. describe epidemiology of infertility and explain male infertility; and 10. identify assisted reproductive techniques.
